(Nashville, TN)  --  A settlement that would end a civil lawsuit filed by a Nashville pediatrician arrested while trying to free an infant trapped in a car is expected this week.

According to the lawsuit, the eight-day-old baby was accidentally locked in the car in May 2012 outside the office of Dr. Stacey Williams.  Firefighters couldn't get the door open, so Williams was going to use a hammer to break a window on the driver side.  Williams claims she was forcefully taken into custody and her Fourth Amendment right against false arrest was violated.
