(Nashville, TN) -- Nashville Predators General Manager David Poile says he was at the wrong place at the wrong time the day he was hit in the face with a puck.

Speaking for the first time since the accident, Poile said on Thursday he has no sight in his right eye, but doctors are holding out hope that some will return. He says the puck fractured his nose in three different places, broke his orbital bone above and below his eye, and he had to have 40 stitches.
