MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) _ Rescue crews have been called to the Stones River in Murfreesboro for the fourth time in four days.

Police spokesman Kyle Evans said rescuers were called to the Manson Pike Dam area of the rain-swollen river on Wednesday afternoon. He did not know details of what had happened, and the Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue spokeswoman was not immediately available.

Nineteen-year-old James Patton was killed while swimming near the dam on Tuesday afternoon. Police said Patton jumped into the river and might have struck a submerged object. An autopsy is pending.

Rescuers found a juvenile male standing in rushing water near the dam Sunday and were able to lead him to safety. On Monday, rescuers pulled two boys from the river after they were found clinging to trees near the dam.
