NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ The Tennessee Titans open the 2013 season with their first two games on the road, starting Sept. 8 at Pittsburgh, and a team coming off a 6-10 season will play in prime time once against Indianapolis in November.

The NFL released the 2013 schedule Thursday night.

The Titans also visit Houston before their home opener Sept. 22 against San Diego, the first of three straight home games. They will play a total of four home games in a five-game span in Nashville with a road trip to Seattle on Oct. 13 before hosting the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 20.

Tennessee will conclude the season with four of its final six on the road, though the Titans do host Houston for the season finale on Dec. 29.
