(Mount Juliet, TN) -- Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Mount Juliet.
The shooting happened after police spotted a stolen vehicle that fled onto I-40 yesterday. The driver got off of the highway at Beckwith Road and went down an embankment. The driver was shot during some sort of confrontation and was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with unknown injuries.
