Winter Storm Watch / Advisory

Hazardous travel is expected to develop across Middle Tennessee Friday and continue through Friday night. A Winter Storm Watch continues for western sections of the Mid State where rain will transition to freezing rain and sleet early Friday morning, then to snow around mid morning. One tenth of an inch of ice will be possible with 1-4 inches of snow. This watch will be updated to a warning or advisory later today, depending on updated forecast information. For the rest of Mid Tennessee, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. Rain will transition to freezing rain and sleet in the morning, then to snow late morning or early afternoon.
