We have received a report that a 15-year-old student has been charged with bringing a gun onto the property of Maplewood High School.
According to police they found an unloaded nine millimeter pistol and a separate loaded magazine inside the students backpack.
A tip from another student led Maplewood's resource officer to recover the gun. The teen that was found with the gun was taken to juvenile detention and will be charged with unlawful weapon possession on school property.
