From The AP comes The White House press release of President Donald Trump’s plan to end the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Actually, President Trump stated that it was not only for peace in Gaza, but for peace in the Middle East. It will be a difficult lift to have all twenty points in order for peace. Although Hamas may agree to the plan now, who knows whether they will be just biding time to come back in the future. In any event President Trump has done an incredible job in trying to reach a peace in The Middle East. Read all of Trump's 20 points at the link above.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he supported the plan following a meeting with Trump at the White House on Monday, but it’s unclear if Hamas will accept these terms.
1. Gaza will be a deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.
2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.
3. If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.
4. Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.
