(Nashville, TN) -- Police are investigating a possible hate crime after a man suffered serious injuries in an assault and robbery outside of a gay bar.
WSMV-TV is reporting that the victim was called a gay slur before being attacked while walking from Play to Canvas bar on Church Street recently. A friend of the victim became concerned and found him unconscious. The man also had his phone stolen and had injuries including a fractured skull.
