(Nashville, TN) -- Metro is looking at giving the Tennessee Titans a lot more city money to help maintain Nissan Stadium.
"The Tennessean" reports Metro Sports Authority Director Monica Fawknotson is proposing doubling Nashville's yearly subsidy to two-million-dollars. She says that'd help cover a backlog of projects, noting that one-million-dollars isn't enough anymore to fund capital needs. Metro has a stadium lease agreement with the Titans through the year 2027.
