President Polk's Remains Could Be Moving, Again

(Nashville, TN)  --  State lawmakers are considering moving the remains of the nation's eleventh president from the grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol.

The state Senate has approved a resolution to exhume the bodies of President James K. Polk and his wife Sarah.  Yesterday's action would allow the couple's remains to be moved to the James K. Polk Home and Museum in Columbia.  It'd be the former president's fourth burial site.
