   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of

     Eastern Alabama

     Northwest Georgia

     Middle Tennessee

   * Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 135 PM until

     700 PM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...

     A couple tornadoes possible

     Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

   SUMMARY...Line of thunderstorms will push east across parts of

   Alabama and Tennessee, eventually into northwest Georgia. Damaging

   winds will be the primary hazard, but a couple tornadoes are also

   possible.

   The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles

   either side of a line from 50 miles northeast of Nashville TN to 50

   miles west southwest of La Grange GA. For a complete depiction of

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for

   tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch

   area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for

   threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements

   and possible warnings.
