The National Religious Broadcasters Convention is set to start on February 27th at The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention center. and will feature Vice President Mike Pence as an opening day speaker.
In a press release, Dr. Jerry A. Johnson confirmed Pence's appearance adding "“The Vice President is an outstanding public servant – one who has emphasized for years the importance of his Christian faith in his public service. As a former radio broadcaster, Vice President Pence knows NRB and we know him. We eagerly anticipate what he has to say to thousands of evangelical communicators.”
Pence was honored with the NRB's Faith and Freedom Award in 2009.
