Judge Rules Waffle House Shooter Not Fit To Stand Trial

Travis Reinking, the man accused of taking four lives in an Antioch Waffle House, had a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday, August 22nd. 

After a short deliberation, the judge decided that Reinking is not fit to stand trial and should be sent to a mental health facility.

Reinking is accused of taking four lives in a shooting at the Antioch Waffle House on April 22nd. A manhunt for Reinking lasted 36 hours before a couple spotted him going into the woods behind an apartment complex. 

He was booked into Metro Jail with a $2 million bail that was later revoked.
