We're seen reports online that tomorrow over 100 Metro teachers at McGavock High School are planning to protest. Sources are saying that these teachers are using a sick day to bring attention to Mayor David Briley.

This protest is due to the lack of raise they have recieved. Mayor Briley offered in his budget a 3 percent pay raise to Metro Nashville Public School employees. The teachers think that this raise is insufficient. The students have also released a statement about the teacher's protest.

We will continue to follow along with this story as more news comes out.
