Nine-Year-Old Facing Murder Charges Over Fatal Mobile Home Fire

A nine-year-old is facing charges of first-degree murder in connection with a mobile home fire that left five people, including three babies, dead. 69-year-old Kathryn Murray, 34-year-old Jason Wall, two-year-old Damien Wall, two-year-old Rose Alwood, and one-year-old Ariel Wall all died from carbon monoxide intoxication as a result of the blaze, which was intentionally set back in AprilKatrina Alwood and her eight-year-old son Kyle managed to escape the fire, suffering just minor injuries.

Authorities have not released the identity of the boy because of his age and did not say whether he had any relation to the victims.

In addition to five felony counts of first-degree murder, the boy is also being charged with two counts of arson and one count of aggravated arson.
