Goodlettsville Middle School received a huge surprise when Tennessee based retailer Dollar General surprised them with a large donation.
As a part of Dollar Generals "Reading Revolution" program, the Middle School was gifted $50,000. With this donation, administration will use the funds at their discretion, helping improve the school's library and literacy program with books as well as technology programs and computers.
Since the start of the program in 2013, Dollar General has donated more than $2.9 million to schools in need.
