Few things are better than a long drive down a scenic stretch of road on a bright, sunny day, twisting and turning along highways framed by patches of wildflowers and breathtaking views of the surrounding land. Add to that a few beloved passengers and the radio blasting all your favorite songs, and you've got a warm memory in the making.

According to a list compiled by Cheapism, the "most scenic highway drive" in all of Tennessee is U.S. Highway 411. This roadway in the Smoky Mountains highlights the beauty of the surrounding nature, such as the "lush" peaks of the mountains.

Here's what the site had to say about the most scenic drive in the state:

"U.S. Highway 441 is the main route through Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the nation's most visited national park. The 32-mile road passes the park's lush rounded peaks, often shrouded in fog, and functions as a gateway to area hikes, many near Newfound Gap at the state line. End the day in Gatlinburg, the kitschy tourist town to end all kitschy tourist towns."
