Mayor O'Connell Introducing $527 Million Capital Spending Plan

Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell is introducing a $527 million capital spending plan. The mayor outlined the proposal yesterday, saying it puts a priority on schools, parks, and infrastructure projects. The plan includes $98 million in investments for MNPS and more than $100 million for transportation maintenance and initiatives. Another $89 million is earmarked for city facility and the Metro's vehicle fleet, including new fire trucks.
