A clip of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen from earlier this week has resurfaced amid his engagement to Academy Award nominated actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld.

Allen shared a photo of himself proposing to Steinfeld on Friday (November 29) with the caption "11*22*24," with the proposal appearing to have taken place one week prior to the post. Shortly after, the NFL shared a clip of giddy Allen addressing reporters on Monday (November 25), telling them his bye week was "fantastic" in a video captured by WGRZ-TV.

"Fantastic, it was great. I got some sun, hung out with family, it was fantastic," Allen said while smiling four days prior to revealing his engagement.

Allen publicly confirmed his relationship with Steinfeld, who he'd been linked to since 2023, in a carousel of Instagram photos, several of which showed Steinfeld, including one showing the couple looking at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and another that appears to be at a family event, this past summer. The quarterback later smiled while being referred to as 'Mr. Hard Launch' by Up & Adams host Kay Adams and admitted that he's "seen a few episodes" of Steinfeld's show Dickinson before adding, "we love love."

The couple was initially spotted together in New York City in photos exclusively obtained and shared by the New York Post in May 2023, which was believed to be the first time they were photographed together publicly.

A source close to Steinfeld later told PEOPLE Magazine that the two had been "hanging out for a few weeks."

Photos shared by TMZ Sports in July 2023 showed Allen and Steinfeld at a resort pool in Mexico during a "romantic getaway." The 'True Grit' actress was later seen attending several Bills games and included in photos taken in the Buffalo area, which included one with Allen's mother, Lavonne, alongside Lindsey Vega, the founder of the Bills-inspired boutique Leveled Up Buffalo, in a post shared by the store's Instagram account in September, as well as several others shared by teammates' wives and girlfriends during regular season and playoff games.
