You don't need a special occasion to enjoy a meal at one of the best date-night restaurants in the country. Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, spending an extravagant night out with your significant other, trying your luck on a first date, or simply want to enjoy a special meal with your partner, there are plenty of memorable restaurants to serve as the perfect backdrop.
According to a list of the "Top 100 Date Night Restaurants" compiled by Yelp, three Tennessee restaurants are among the best in the entire country to enjoy a romantic meal with a significant other.
Coming in at No. 26 is Coastal Fish Company, a seafood spot in Memphis with popular dishes like crab cakes, lobster bisque and Chilean sea bass. Noko Nashville ranked No. 32 overall, a trendy Asian-inspired spot with hit dishes like crab fried rice, burnt end lettuce wraps and coconut cake. Rounding out the Tennessee eateries on the list is The Iberian Pig in Nashville, which at No. 47 serves popular Spanish-inspired tapas options like pan con tomate, patatas bravas and pork cheek tacos.
Here's how Yelp determined its rankings of the best date-night restaurants:
"We identified businesses in the restaurants and food categories with a large concentration of reviews mentioning words and phrases such as 'date night,' 'romantic,' 'valentine,' and 'anniversary.' We then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning those keywords between January 1, 2021, and December 1, 2024."
