Hundreds are seeking warmth at Nashville Centers as cold temperatures persist. Nashville's Office of Emergency Management opened a hotline to provide safe transportation to warming centers across the area. Since starting a hotline on Sunday, officials have provided over 420 transportation. On Tuesday night, nearly 600 people stayed at the three main warming centers. Ice, freezing rain, and widespread power outages are forcing many out of their homes and into Nashville's warming centers.
