Massive Winter Storm Creates Havoc Across Large Swath Of US

Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell and city leaders are giving the latest update on Nashville's recovery from the recent winter storm. They emphasize that restoring power and ensuring life safety remain top priorities. Metro departments also highlighted progress with the Winter Storm Recovery Fund, which has now surpassed $1 million. More than $120,000 has already been distributed to nonprofits helping residents with housing, utilities, food loss, and urgent needs. United Way says 700 cases have been submitted through its needs tracker to connect residents with direct assistance.
