Donald Webb, CEO of Williamson Medical Center

Donald Webb is Chief Executive Officer at Williamson Medical Center, a licensed 185-bed, non-profit organization that provides advanced inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency care, to all of Williamson County and surrounding communities. Williamson Medical Center is the third largest employer in Williamson County with nearly 1,600 employees and operates a physician group that has offices in Brentwood, Franklin, and Thompson’s Station. Williamson Medical Center works with its credentialed medical staff of more than 600 physicians across more than 70 specialties to offer a wide range of services close to home.

Mr. Webb joined Williamson Medical Center in 1985 as a staff accountant. He later served as Williamson Medical Center’s Chief Financial Officer for 16 years before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Mr. Webb’s extensive background in health care management, coupled with his strategic leadership and vision, has helped guide Williamson Medical Center through a new era of health care under the federal government’s Affordable Care Act. Since Mr. Webb was named CEO, Williamson Medical Center has dramatically increased its primary care services throughout Williamson County, expanded its surgical operations, became the first hospital in Middle Tennessee to offer advanced robotic-assisting technology for total knee and hip replacements, and in July 2015 opened the first dedicated children’s hospital in Williamson County.

Mr. Webb is a certified public accountant and a fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He also serves as a member of the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy, the Tennessee Chapter of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Hospital Association.
