WSU Football Coach Fired For Refusing The COVID Jab Files $25 Million Suit

Fired Washington State University football coach Nick Rolovich has filed a claim against the university for wrongful termination.

Rolovich was fired back in October over Democrat Gov. Jay Inslee’s mandate.

He sought and was denied a religious exemption from the mandate that required all state employees to get the jab.

His attorney Brian Fahling filed a 34-page letter with the university appealing Rolovich’s firing in November.

That appeal was denied.

At the time of his firing, Rolovich was working under a five-year contract, on which three seasons remained. He was paid $3.2 million per year.

The Spokesman Review newspaper out of Washington state reports:

"The tort claim was submitted April 27 to the state Department of Enterprise Services Office of Risk Management.
The filing claims that the termination was a breach of contract that violated Rolovich’s rights to religious freedom and resulted in reputational harm and defamation, among other damages.
State law provides that a claimant must wait 60 days before they can file a lawsuit."
