According to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds Americans have a dim view of Congressional leaders
o 36% of Likely U.S. Voters have a favorable impression of Johnson – down from 45% in May – including 19% with a Very Favorable opinion of the Louisiana Republican.
o 41% now view Johnson unfavorably, including 30% with a Very Unfavorable impression. Twenty-three percent (23%) are not sure.
Johnson’s Democratic counterpart, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, has also declined in favorability, although less than the Speaker’s nine-point drop.
o 38% of voters view Jeffries favorably – down from 40% in May – including 16% with a Very Favorable opinion of the New York Democrat.
o 39% now view Jeffries unfavorably, including 25% with a Very Unfavorable impression, and 24% are not sure.
